Danke an Erlangernick. Heller, wenig süßer Getreideantrunk, ein wenig bitter. Die helle Malzigkeit nimmt zu, spritzig, weiterhin leicht herb. Angenehme Hopfigkeit. 9/10/9/9/10/9

Bottle, danke an Nick via dem Rhein! Golden, fine carbonation, big off-white head. Fresh herbal hops on a light honeyish malt base. Fullbodied, chewy, fruity/berrylike and light honeyish malt base, good broad classic and aromatic hop profile. Spicy cookie finish. Grassy hop aftertaste. Really nice.

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Bready, slightly buttery and nutty (cara-)malty aroma with notes of herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Delicately bready and slightly chalky malty taste with herbal hoppy spice; a tad slim bitter-sweet buttery malty and herbal hoppy finish. Likeable Franconian Bock. 20.II.14

Bügelverschlußflasche(very kindly donated by Erlangernick!!!): Golden to deep golden with a greenish sheen, visible carbonation and a slowly collapsing white head with a little lace; honeyish-grainy nose with a mild grainy-hoppy background, a touch of vanilla included; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering dryish strawy-hoppy finish with a grainy-bisquity touch in the aftertaste. Not a superb, but still a good franconian brew…
