Tap at KBH festival, 2009. Unclear orange with a creamy white head. Sweet nose of malts. Alcohol, fruit, malts and berries. Very mellow with a slight tart note. Quite tasty - though not very complex.

(On tap) Clear golden with absolutely no head. Sweetish licorice-like aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweetish fruit and again licorice notes. No bitterness. With the licorice accents this isn’t really your typical Barley wine, but it’s still quite pleasant. 120908

(Draught@EBF). Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, grassy pear-like aroma. This barley wine is really "something else" ... fruits, pears, missing alcohol, very light for ABV.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Mild malty and light hoppy. Flavour holds a mellow fruity base flavour to a brew that by no standard a 12 percent alcohol brew - at least so it seems. Yet tasty.
