Taste true liquid luxury in this decadent and nuanced Belgian-style quad. Pear and apricot aromas blend with caramel, fruit and spice flavors in the full-bodied amber ale.

Warming alcohol notes mix with a lot of fruity fermentation profile on the nose. Big and bold, this beer is a boozy, savory treat. Rich caramel, clove, banana warming.

750 ml bottle thanks to ekstedt! Sampled on December 21, 2013.Clear copper color, teal head. Sweet, herbal, spicy, grainy scent. Sweet, then very sweet taste. Alcohol aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Smells sort of Barley Wineish, actually taste a bit of it as well.

Bottle from Systembolaget Passagen. Clear orange with a small white head. Sweet aroma and taste of malt, dried fruit, some toffee and light spices. Rather thick mouthfeel and with warming alcohol in the finish. An ok beer.

750ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Sultanas, dried apricot and toffee in the aroma. Malty, sweet and syrupy taste with treacle, sultanas and peace detected. Disappointing.

Split a bottle of this one. Poured a slightly amber color with a small sized white head. Aroma was notes of caramel malts, Belgian yeast notes. Flavor had some bready notes, sweet malts, caramel, alcohol is most certainly there. Lots of heat in there, with plenty of notes of sweetness. Pretty enjoyable.
