Evolved from 20th Anniversary Imperial IPA. Polished brass with copper tints and a wavy, dense tan head. Aromas of pink grapefruit, fresh huckleberry pie, redwood needles, caramel, and woodruff greet the nose. The expected bitterness is delivered on the palate, as are rich flavors of candied grapefruit peel, fresh pine, blueberries, black pepper, vanilla, and digestive biscuits balanced beautifully with malty richness and body. Long, warm, herbal finish.

355ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma with a touch of honey, grapefruit, bitter, minimally grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is caramel malty with a honey touch, minimally biting bitter hop. Not as fruity as the Hop Ottin’ IPA, but a bit more agressively hopped and with an overall fuller body.
