0.5l bottle at the Beershop tent at the Rujanfest in Zagreb, shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a REd/black body with a small off white head. Very light caramel, a little roastiness. Ok coffee in the taste ending in milk caramel, not to sweet, dry even, a bit roasty. Not bad at all.

Bottle marketed as Bogesund Svart lager bought at Systembolaget. Pours dark redbrown with a small tan head. Smells malty with a hint of saltyness. Too short lasting taste.

Bottle. A beer that’s good in the start. It’s got a lot of the charecterestic black lager qualities. Too bad it’s a little too thin...

Bottle, 4.5%. Creamy aroma, quite roasted, some coffee. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour is nicely roasted with some barley bitterness resembling that of a stout. This is quite mild, though, but very flavourful.

(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget, ordering section) Tried as Bogesund 1520 Svart Lager, imported by Pilsnergubbarna AB.Clear dark red brown color, small tan head. Very skunky cheesy scent, oxidized most likely, also sweaty. Thin roasted and metallic taste. Roasted aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle (@Pivni Galerie, Praha- Holesovice): Very dark, almost black with a thin beige-brownish head; dry aroma: mainly roast-malty, some caramel and molasses; dry bitter and a bit fruity flavour, quite light bodied; lingering bitter (chocolate) finish, but also fruity notes (citrus) detectable; not sweet at all. More a Schwarzbier than a Dunkel; refreshing and well balanced........

A brown beer with a small brown head. The aroma is sweet malty and slight hints of toffee. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of roasted malt, but again some toffee.

Very fine & dense brownish head, creamy & leaving lace; beautiful dark-chestnut beer. Roasted barley & malts; bit of dark candi sugar in the nose. Again roasted malt, barley & coffee. Quite dry but quite thin as well. It’s not a stout, OK, but even for a Dunkel it’s thin. Slightly smoked. As said, thin. Bit velvety MF. IT’s OK - I suppose it makes a great session beer, rather than a tastign-supping sensation.
