Bottle from Meibier. Malty/grainy aroma with soft caramel, minerals, bitter hops. Moderate bitter with a light sweetness. Fine.

Clear reddish amber with a large white head. Toasted malt in the nose along with light caramel and toffee. Over the palate came toasted malt, toffee, light rye bread and grassy hops.

Pours a nice looking transparent amber or slightly darker, with a quite dense couple of fingers of the slightest off-white head. Good enough retention and nice lacing. The aroma is quite subdued with a sweet malty prominence led mainly by caramel notes over a grainy base. There's also a hint of cola-like freshness underneath. Taste is pretty sweet as the smell suggested, with maltiness taking the main stage (notes of caramel) and the lightest fruity hint underneath. Finish and aftertaste are balanced by a light, fairly dry earthy note, though there's still a bit of lingering sweetness in the aftertaste. As for the smell, taste was not very intense. Quite light in body with low to medium carbonation; classic german lager easy mouthfeel, highly drinkable. Ok, but rather unimpressive to me.

Amber colour, clear, white foam disappears quickly. Bready, light caramel notes, some fruitiness. Medium sweet, malty finish. Good.
