Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Airy smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, smooth but tangy coffee and cream. Tangy dark fruits on the back end. Mild spice on the smooth finish. Pretty drinkable.

Black beer with a thick brown head. Rich aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste has the same, with a cocoa sweetness, vanilla, nuts all with s rich, smooth to it. The more I got through it the more I picked up the dunkelweiss notes of the description, with banana and a bready, wheaty taste. Delicious.

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 01/06/18. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is sticky toffee, mellow coffee, chocolate, sweet malts, light roast. Taste comprises chocolate fudge brownies, mellow roast malts, light black peppery spice, modest coffee bean, muscavado sugar melt, dark fruit rinds, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost factor. Decent enough impy but lacked coffee impact for me.
