Bottle at fonefan tasting. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are honey, sugar and alcohol. Nice and warming.

Bottle @ Friday Night Ulfborg Tasting Thing. Thanks to J&C. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Fruit, liquorice , honey and alcoholVery dry flavor. Liquorice, herbs and alcohol. Syrupy. Liked this one . .

Bottled@fonefan. Folden colour, no head. Aroma is honey, some mild cheesy notes, Flavour is honey, some spices, mild notes of wood and some alcohol.

Bottle 375ml.Clear medium to dark orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, flowers, resin - wood, light licorice - laber laver. Flavor is heavy sweet and light light acidic with a duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100921]

bottle at home .. golden amber ... sweet dry honey nose ... sharp tart fruits with a nice soft sweet honey ... well i like this ... this is a decent mead despite the other scores ...

Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. For me, one of the drinks of the Gathering. But I have a feeling that only Silk and I will agree on that. Beautiful deep copper colour with no head. Lovely nutty honey, nougat aroma. Really good buttery caramel in mouth, with a touch of herb. Sweet in mouth with more nuts and toffee/butter. Could have curled up with the rest of the bottle and an open fire and got sozzled.
