Bottle, as Erdinger Oktoberfest, Dense creamy head with some lacing, quite hazy and a little light hazy orange colour, aroma of bubblegum with a touch of spice, fruity bubblegum flavour with a medium to strong bitterness, quite a bit more then a normal hefe, medium body with almost no sourness. Nice satisfyting hefe weizen.

Bottle. As Erdinger Oktoberfest. Cloudy golden-orange with a white head. Wheaty aroma with mild fruity esters, some clove and a light bready note. Wheaty flavor, sweetish, with a bit of fruitiness, mild spicy phenols, a light touch of tartness and a light citric note. Medium-bodied, nice fluffy mellow mouthfeel. Not flavorful enough, and could use some more esters, but still a decent easy-drinking Weizen.

330 ml bottle into weizen glass, best before 5/2014. Pours hazy bright golden amber color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange, pear, apple, clove, pepper, light banana, wheat, bread, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with solid complexity and balance of malt and fruity/spicy yeast notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, orange, pear, apple, wheat, toast, bread, honey, light banana, light clove, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, wheat, toast, honey, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and solid complexity of malt and yeast ester flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a moderately creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a pretty good hefeweizen. Solid complexity, balance, and robustness of flavors; and very smooth to drink. An enjoyable offering.

Draft. From notes. Grains and bready malt with a hint of spices and citrus. Not a bad brew, but by far not my favorite of the night.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines, Dalry. Pours hazy yellow with an orange tinge. big frothy white head, high carbonation keeps it there. Cereal and bread dominate the aroma. Light spice notes. Taste is light sweet, very light bitterness. A little thin at the end, and the finish is quite dry.

Bottle: (as Oktoberfest) Cloudy, unfiltered, yellow gold with a titanic white head. Citrus, yeast aroma. Sweet orange/banana...wheat taste. Very soft....a little dusty feel. Also boasts quite possibly the worst label art in the beer world...the happy young bavarians look like crappy tattoos.

Flaske hos Ole Anders mai-13: lite aroma men en frisk syrlig smak med litt karamellsødme. Weissbier er og blir godt!

Dobre i mętna, a poza tym treściwe piwo pszeniczne ze sporą pianą. Lekko pikantne i gryzące podczas pierwszych łyków, spore nagazowanie. Wspaniała i kolorowa etykieta z bawarskimi klimatami świetnie się komponuje z różnego rodzaju przegryzkami itp.

Pours blond, a little cloudy. Smells yeasty with some citrus floating around. Lots of foamy head on pour, carbonation is pretty light. Soft taste on palate. Some sourness on aftertaste. Tastes very bread-like. Bottle.
