Canned May 4th, 2023, drunk 9/1/23. Classic hefe-oktoberfest here. Not super cloudy, just lightly-so. Small, white head, modest retention. Pretty muted nose; some clove, other random light spice, light bubble gum, some white bread and creamy/nutty wheat. Clean. Similar muted flavor, super spicy with tons of nutty wheat, crusty bread and lingering fruit, bubble gum and clove/pepper. It's a very mellow hefe, despite its size, with soft wheat, but low maltiness. Quite dry. I mean, I like that it's dry, mellow and spicy but just wish there was a bit more oomph to the malt depth.

Poured from 500mL bottle (bb 06-2023; thanks fiulijn). Hazed gold with small white head. Muted esters, very feint coriander and metallic notes. Average.

Color ámbar pajizo turbia, espuma no demasiado retenida.

Bottle, as Erdinger Oktoberfest Weizen
More gelbe than weisse, cloudy. Mild fruity esters in the aroma, undefined. As expected, it's sweetish; the wheat is muddy, hint of fruity esters (more overripe peach than banana) and almost no spice (maybe some coriander, definitively no clove); and of course the bitterness is low.
Not that I can pretend to remember the regular Erdinger Weisse, but the Fest version is possibly more muted, it's the issue with the style.
Phillies completely capitulate in the fifth inning. Tottenham were shit today too.

On tap at Frankford Hall in Philadelphia. Hazy orange gold color. Brief white head. Bready, yeasty malt aroma. Flavor is sweet bready malt, citrus and tangy yeast. Quite refreshing. Lovely accompaniment to my wurst platter. Prost!
