(Keg at Panema Kallio, 20200606) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had vanilla, dark chocolate and liquorice. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were vanilla, burnt malts, wood, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste had vanilla, booze and bitterness. A too boozy brew with surprisingly good drinkability.

Pitch black as expected, a bit of carbonation, no head to speak of. Roasty bourbony aroma. Sweet, strong, malty, roasty. Lots of boozy bourbon. Not as rough as that sounds, quite enjoyable.

12oz crowler from Holiday Market. Pours an oily, pitch black with a small bit of brown foam that dissipates quickly. Big sticky nose with oak, vanilla, marshmallow and bourbon aromas with cacao nib, prune and fig as it warms. Full bodied with warming alcohol on the palate. More cacao nib, caramel and vanilla oak notes on the palate. Warming finish with lingering bourbon, molasses and cacao nib.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter nøtter, mørk sjokolade og blomster. Fyldig. Søt noe bitter smak. Smaker lakris, mørk sjokolade, noe stenfrukt og brunt sukker. Middels lang.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Creamy coffee, bourbon,caramel,toffee nose. Treacle toffee,dessicated coconut,dark chocolate, light bourbon taste.Thick, sweet boozy finish.
