375ml bottle. Cloudy, redd-ish brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Woody, vinous fruity, slightly tangy aroma, notes of oak, leather, blue grapes, dark berries, hints of cherry, Sherry, mild funky overtones, some white pepper, black pepper. Taste is mildly tart, slightly sweet, vinous fruity, notes of raspberry, cherry, morello, blue grapes, minimally tannic, oaky overtones, some leather, plum, mild funky overtones. Surprisingly oily, almost a bit slimy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Very nice composition, quite complex, harmonious and mild - finally even a bit cautious, reticent, not courageous enough to advance into Rodenbach regions.
