Tap at Goed Zuur. Dark reddish brown with a low head. Big malty nose, cherry, lactic acid, chocolate. Medium sourness, not at all acetic, which is a surprise, cherries, chocolate, caramel. Very rich and balanced. Delicious.

Aroma of big wood and yeast. Good dark ruby brown body, modest foam. Flavour is nice woody malt with heavy yeast funk. Medium on the mouth. This is a good yeasty brown ale.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head Nose brings out tannins, red wine barrels, Worcestershire sauce, and some balsamic. Flavour is similar, with balsamic, red wine, wood, and some acidity. Nicely tart and appropriately constructed to style. Lots of depth and very drinkable. Excellent.
