This tawny-orange ale immediately assults the senses with the character of hops from the Pacific Northwest. An aroma that combines grapefruit pith and pine resin foreshadows a strongly bitter beer. The flavor is spicy and juicy with citrus dominating over honey and floral notes, then giving way to a dry, chalky bitterness. The almost sweet finish is accentuated by the strength of the alcohol.

Courtesy of douglas88. Bomber pours clear copper with full off white head. The aroma has baskets of earthy citrus rind and citrus meat that make it seem like the beer had fresh citrus sitting in it for some time. For the style the aroma comes up a little short in depth and pungency. The taste is thick with a medley of malt sweetened citrus fruit hop flavor with mild levels of citrus bitterring hop notes. Pretty yummy brew.

Bomber at Churchkey. Clear dark golden color, huge fluffy off white head, massive lacing. Aroma of fresh pine boughs. Taste of bitter pine resin. Nice stuff.

Rerate - Release #2 - 22oz bottle from Epic
Appearance: Hazy orange with a medium sized frothy off-white head and good lacing
Aroma: Grapefruit, tropical fruits and pine
Taste: Smooth mouthfeel of pine resin and grapefruit
Nice IIPA, much better than release #1

22oz bottle (Release #1) from the brewery
Appearance: Hazy golden/amber with a nice big foamy off-white head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Pine resin and biscuity
Taste: Malty (caramel) up front, bitter pine in the finish
OK, but too much bitterness in the finish. The alcohols are well hidden.
