Top-fermented IPA, dry hopping, unpasteurized, unfiltered, bottle-fermented, no additives or preservatives. Brewed with passion and expertise by our Brewmaster.
Istrian reinterpretation of Indian Pale Ale. This IPA doesn’t focus only on its various hops and dry hopping (Amarillo, East Kent Goldings, Chinook) but also on the barley malt (3 types of characteristic malt). The result is a TORNADO of flavour.
Natural yeast sediment.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky brown amber color with large frothy off-white head, good lacing, lots of yeast sediment and sparkling appearance. Aroma of passion fruit, peach, pine, melon and caramel. Taste starts light sweet grainy with caramel note, follows by refreshing tropical fruit, yeast and grass, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Murky appearance spoils total look a bit, however, taste is good...

Jun. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured dark ocher to brown body with medium sized head. Fine IPA aroma, citrus, especially grapefruit, herbal and floral. A bit malty, too. Flavor was straightforwardly bitter, grass, pine, sharp herbal with elegant, just smoothing fruity/biscuit malty base. Medium body, with long bitter/dry finish. Luckily, least yeasty and by far the best of the three.

Pours a hazy darker amber color, topped with a huge and very lasting, foamy off-white head. Piney aroma upfront, some citrusy notes that are pretty sharp with soapy feel, later a bit more sweet fruitiness. Taste is moderately bitter with a hort and gentler aftertaste, still pretty there. Decent hops oriented IPA.

Keg at Craft Room, Zagreb. Cloudy amber, rich lively head. Piney peach and grapefruit up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation. Fruity with some caramel and pine. Resinous mid bitter finish.

Bottle at Craft Room. Murky dark brownish-red body. Small white lasting head. Malty, slightly toasty notes with a light red berry-like hoppy touch, a bit herbal and soapy. OK enough. A herbal hoppy and soapy/citric note mixing with rosehip builds upon the malty backbone. Solid balance, but too subdued, ending slightly too dry, with a bitterness that builds up. Not that IPAish, but hey, it’s an Istrian Pale Ale! Good beer, nice to have it on the market.

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky amber, medium off white head, lots of sediment floating around. Medium hopped, biscuit and dry fruits, light floral notes, dusty. Light bitterness, light to medium body, sparkling and dusty mouth feel. Lacks body and character, although it doesn’t taste bad. Finish is quite long and hoppy. There is room for improvement.
