Bottle@Voldby Ølmesse - Dark brown/black pour with medium tan head. Roasted caramel malts, with some dark bitter choc, meets some floral hoppy tones, pine, and some coffee in the bitter slightly spicy, roasted finish. Great stuff.

Bottle, 9.5%. Weak roasted aroma. Cloudy black colour. Small head. The flavour is roasted and salty. Quite bitter finish with a good hop bite. The hop bite really works for me.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, soy sauce, whiskey, iodine, and wood, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of humlelala. Pours a cloudy opaque black with a small, creamy beige head. Fruity nose but also quite some harsh roast and some aroma hops. Medium body, not really heavy on the roast but loads of citrusy hops leaving a dry and bitter finish. I’d really call this an Imperial Black IPA. 140712
