Nonnen er en klassisk belgisk abbey-ale. Hun er brygget på gode råvarer, belgisk aromamalt, rørsukker, belgisk gær og traditionelle europæiske humlesorter. Smagen er holdt ren ved at undlade tilsætning af krydderier, som ellers er vanlig praksis hos vore belgiske kolleger. Gylden og indbydende med et vedholdende hvidt skum, behagelig uden skarpe kanter og dejligt fyldig. Nonnen tilfører Syndikatet et skær af fromhed og uskyld, men rygterne vil vide, at hun kan hjælpe med mere end syndsforladelse.

Bottle @ Voldby Ølmesse. Pours hazy orangebrown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, sweet ripe fruit. Flavor is malt, yeast, sweets, sweet ripe fruit, ends with a light sourness. Thin body, average carbonation. 250812

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is light yeasty, phenolic and fruity. Toasted malty and crisp hoppy. Dry, hoppy and light yeasty finish.

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a dry finish.

cloudy dark orange, smooth beige head. slightly yeasty aroma, slightly spicy. flavor is quite belgian yeasty, sort of sweet , spicy, fruity.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of humlelala. Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Very fruity nose with quite some yeast up there. Medium body, a little caramel, very dry fruits and again yeast - almost berryish. Dry finish. Lovely. 140712

Bottle @ Papsø. Hazy dark orange appearance with a white head. Tangerine, blood orange, somewhat bitter, floral aroma. Chewy, dull overripe citrusy, tangerine, light garbage flavor. Pass.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, moderate yeasty, light grass - leather. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, yeasty, riped fruit, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120623]

Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
