Nonnen er en klassisk belgisk abbey-ale. Hun er brygget på gode råvarer, belgisk aromamalt, rørsukker, belgisk gær og traditionelle europæiske humlesorter. Smagen er holdt ren ved at undlade tilsætning af krydderier, som ellers er vanlig praksis hos vore belgiske kolleger. Gylden og indbydende med et vedholdende hvidt skum, behagelig uden skarpe kanter og dejligt fyldig. Nonnen tilfører Syndikatet et skær af fromhed og uskyld, men rygterne vil vide, at hun kan hjælpe med mere end syndsforladelse.

Fra fad på Tap1 mai-14: en ganske kompleks øl, men hverken utseende eller bryggeriets markedsførings-hype kan skjule at denne er alt for søt. Rett og slett ute av balanse. Jeg ble skuffet.

Bottle@Voldby Ølmesse - golden/amber pour with a small off-white head. Fruity, spicy hoppy aroma and taste, sweet yeasts/malts, has a slight fruity spice. Ok.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, a bit spicy with a bunch of yeast as well as some citrusy hoppy notes. Flavour is yeast, some sweet malts, citrusy bitter hops as well as mild earthy and syrupy notes.

Bottle. Pours a golden pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak hoppy citrus finish.

Bottle. Mild yeasty aroma. Cloudy orange grey colour. Small white head. The flavour is nicely bready and slightly sweet. Low bitterness.

Aroma is fruity and slightly sweet with hints of hay and belgian yeast. Very foamy palate. Flavour has lots of spices, some yeast, tartness and hints of apricot. Decent.
