Red Raddle is our Red Ale originally brewed to celebrate the 200th year of Crabble Corn Mill, this beer is named after the red paint used on the millstones. A 5 Hop, ruby red premium bitter with biscuit and toasted malt base supporting a broad hoppy smooth finish.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours golden amber, nose is mandarin, floral, soapy, taste is sweet, juicy, sweet, musty harsh finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Brunswick Inn, 1 Railway Terrace, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 2RU. [ As Wantsum Red Raddle ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration, caramel, nutty, earthy, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160221]

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby Spoons Canterbury. Amber copper colour lasting beige head. Tasty enough premium bitter that is more malt forward than hop. Bit earthy and it has that Wantsum earthy muddy flavour some of their beers have. Malts are aolid and slightly fruity but rest of beer leaves a little something to be desired
