Cask at The Hope, Carshalton ... where's your fucking beer festival ? 29/11/24. Deep chestnut brown topped with a lasting beige head. Nose is mellow fruit esters, herb, toffee, biscuit. Taste comprises toffee, light floral whisper, hedgerow, brown bread, nutty, bitter sweet. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Solid flavoursome cask bitter.

Cask at Hope, Carshalton. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a slightly sour edge. Clear light brown. Frothy foamy off-white head. Sour. Slightly bitter woody edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Slips down.

Bottle bought in Dover. Great smooth mild beginning. Roasted grain, caramel. Dry bitter, roast but a bit too dry. I miss the expected Ale yeast in the aftertaste. From cask at The Long Pond, Eltham, London, after doing the 4A and 4B legs of the Green Chain Walk. Clear copper amber. Aroma and taste of pale malt, biscuits, dates and dried berries. Very sweet.

Cask @ Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Clear deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, a little dark fruit, biscuit and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 151018

Cask @ Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, caramel, malt and hops. Nice fruity finish.

Tried at BeerHeadz Lincoln. Ruby colour with a thick tan head. Aroma is light roasted and sweet malt slight raisins. Taste light malty caramel sweet. Rich body.

Cask at the herriot watt beer festival 2018... deep copper.. thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet caramel toffee fruit nose.. Soft sweet toffee malts

Cask at the heriot watt beer festival. Pours deep amber, nose is hay, grassy, floral, taste is sweet, floral, quite thin.
