Bottle. Hazy amber, golden lace. Mineral, catty aroma. Dusty malt, light spice, pepper/Paprika, a bit medicinal. Dusty finish.

Amber with little white head. Aroma is bonbon, herbs, maybe gummy bears, some aggressive grass. Taste is full bodied bitter and sour brown sugar. Medium drinkable, a bit dry dust in the finish. Meh.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with small white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, toffee. Taste is the same, with some extra earthiness. Medium carbonation. Not excellent.

Süßlich erdiger Beginn. Steigend bitter, angenehm karamellig, konstante milde Herbe. Eher dunkel malzig bleibend, die Trockenheit stört auf Dauer. Süffig, langer dunkelmalziger Nachhall. 8/9/9/9/8/9

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a murky amber-orange color with a smaller head. Sweet-bitter earthy malts, some tea, bread.

50cl swing top bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of soft red malt, mild bitter hops. Taste of red malt, some caramel, sweet malt, hints of honey and spices, overall okay!

Buegelveršlusflaše: Clear, copper coloured, bigger and pretty stable rocky off-white head; mainly sweetish-caramelly nose with unimpressive herbal hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; gets slightly drier towards the caramelly and bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this Bier...

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a firm and thick off-white foamy head. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, traces of biscuits and oak honey, accompanied by delicately fruity and spicy hoppy accents. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a tame carbonation. Slightly toasted cara-malty base with notes of bread, lighter hints of biscuit and oak honey; the level of bitterness increases a little bit towards the medium-dry and mildly caramelly finish with mildly spicy and delicately resiny hoppy flavours shining through. Okay, but the Pforten Bier was more balanced imho. 26.XII.16
