Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with some ruby shades and airy tan head. Dark aroma of caramel malt, chocolate, and coffee. Bitter, slightly roasty onset, giving way to sweet notes of caramel malt and touches of chocolate, liquorice and coffee beans. Warming alcohol presence. Sweetish and roasty finish. Good.

0.5l bottle from trade with ElDesmadre. Oheo! That's one oily pour! Almost like pouring motor oil in a glass! Pitch black with a small bubbly brown head. On the aroma this is really something! Hard to describe, but it's almost like it has been barreled on something. Boozy, roasted, powerful dark chocolate with lot's of dark fruits. Smells really really nice this one! It has a soft to average carbonation level and with a mild oily mouthfeel. Taste is not as great as the aroma, mainly strong roasted malts - almost burned, with a clear nice smoky tone. Also based on the looks and aroma I was expecting a thick and vicious texture. Did not get that. Lot's of cold espresso coffee in the finish before it ends in a warming aftertaste. Really camouflaged the ABV and you can't sense it at all before a couple of seconds out in the aftertaste. Tasty! 27.04.2012
