Ciechan Porter jest ciemnym piwem warzonym w stylu porteru bałtyckiego. Najważniejszym czynnikiem podczas tradycyjnego procesu powstawania Porteru jest czas. W trakcie ponad 90 dni leżakowania w tanku, piwo dojrzewa nabierając unikatowego profilu aromatyczno-smakowego.
Niemal nieprzeźroczysty Ciechan Porter jest bardzo mocnym piwem, lecz alkohol bardzo ciężko wyczuć w smaku, dominuje złożony bukiet aromatyczny z kawowo-karmelowym pierwszym planem. Treściwość i szlachetność tego gatunku powodouje, że jest to doskonałe piwo deserowe.
Niemal nieprzeźroczysty Ciechan Porter jest bardzo mocnym piwem, lecz alkohol bardzo ciężko wyczuć w smaku, dominuje złożony bukiet aromatyczny z kawowo-karmelowym pierwszym planem. Treściwość i szlachetność tego gatunku powodouje, że jest to doskonałe piwo deserowe.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, lots of bitter dark chocolate, coffee, strong notes of liquorice with a hint of raisins. Flavour is medium sweet and light to moderate roasty bitter. Body is medium, not as full as I’d hoped. Nice roasty dark chocolate & liquorice Porter.

bottle from eBrowarium. Deep brown, almost black colour, with a creamy, stable and dense brown head. Aroma of dark roasetd malts, cocoa powder. Full-bodied with just the right sweetness, not dry at all, almost chewable malty body with loads of roasted malts, dark chocolate and a faint smoky hint. Earthy hops tune in after a while, resulting in a surprisingly bitter, velvety finish with more chocolate. Delicious! Superb porter!

Aroma: Sweet dried fruits and roasted malt with port like notes. Flavour: Very malty sweet with roasted malt and dried fruits. aftertaste is malty sweet with some dry bitterness. Colour: Black with a fading tan head.

500ml bottle. Opaque, dark brown colour with late awakening, small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting and lacing, dark ochre head. Sweet-ish, spicy and fruity, dark malty aroma, notes of liquorice, bramble, blueberry, hints of caramel, burnt caramel. Taste is initially moderately sweet, dark malty, fruity and minimally spicy, notes of bramble, blueberry, hints of honey, later more bitter, slightly spicy, notes of liquorice, hints of burnt caramel; slightly warming, alcoholic finish with a brandy touch.

Bottle, many thanks GallAno! Darkest brown color with small tan head. Aroma is molten black chocolate, plums, soy sauce. Taste is black chocolate, metallic, red wine, a bit refreshing, a bit smoked. Medium carbonation, surprisingly light. Maybe a bit too old? It’s a bit metallic. Nice though.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours black. Aroma is prune, dust, rust, metallic. Body is heavy, quite sweet, dusty texture, sweet, yet far from being to much. Still a bit metallic on the tongue. Palate is sweet and long, some chocolate. Okay.

Bottle shared in Warsaw. Pours clear reddish brown with a small, creamy tan head. Nice aroma, some toffee, dried dark fruits, berries, figs. Medium sweet flavour with some burnt meat, maple, cocoa, burnt toast, chocolate. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet with burnt sugars, leathery berries, cocoa, mild earth bitterness. Very good beer.
