Bottle shared with others. Poured black with a creamy brown head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of coconut with a good amount of smoke and an odd burnt note. Flavor was similar with a good amount of coconut backed by a slight burnt note and some dark grains.

Bottle as Klin Kokos. Pours really dark brown with a three finger dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate over dark malt and dark fruit. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is bubble gum? over dark malt and dark fruit and coffee. Nutty. This is far off the normal track. Some medium dark chocolate comes forth after a bit. There are spicey notes. All in all this is very uncommon stuff.

(Klin Kokos) Bottle in Copenhagen, bought at Barley Wine. The color was almost pitch black, the foam was thick with a nice tan color. At first I thought the aroma reminded somewhat of a sour version of the swedish Christmas soft drink called "Julmust". The aroma and taste of coconut was weak. The beer was sweet, a little sour and rather thin. Worst beer from Nøgne Ø which I have tasted.

(Klin Kokos): Bottle - thanks to BuckeyeBoy. Dark brown pour with a bubbly brown head. Sweet and potent aroma is full of coconut oil / extract. Kinda boozey. Taste is sweet and malty, light roast and faint coconut. Nutty. Gets a little watery in the end...

Bottle labeled Klin Kokos. Pours black with thin light brown head. Aroma is mostly roasted malts. There is a faint hint of chocolate and coconut. Roasted malt flavor with very little coconut and chocolate. Somewhat bitter finish. Thin body with little carbonation. This was pretty disappointing. I was hoping for much more chocolate and coconut.

Bottle #1398 of 1550 with the Klin Koko’s lable. Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a light tan head. Aroma of coconut all over. Along with some sweet chocolate and vanilla. Tast was more of the coconut not as strong as the aroma. A nice dark roast and some lite bitterness. I don’t think it is posible that this beer is just A Nother name for the Porter???

Bottle 1133, labeled as Klin Kokos. Lots of coconut in the aroma. Dry coconut flavor with moderately roasted malt. Very rich, smooth, and heavy like their standard porter. Some sediment in the beer. Thick, full mouthfeel. I liked it.
