EIn Bockbier mit ordentlichen 16° Stammwürze und ebenso ordentlichen 7% alk. Geschmacklich haut einen gleich mal der volle malzige Körper um. Daher verschenkte ich die Dose nach der ersten Verkostung an einen durstigen Kollegen, der es nicht schlecht fand. Wenn es dann etwas wärmer wird, entfaltet sich dann doch ein ganz nettes Aroma nach Erdbeere und Kirsche mit einem bittren Hopfenabgang. Vielleicht kein Top-Bier, aber für Bockbierfreunde, welche auch hopfige Noten mögen, sicher nicht übel.

0.5l can. Clear dark golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of grains, sugar syrup and booze with a minimal butter and some spicy hops. Far cry from the brewery's Extra Chmelený.

0,5 can, from Lidl. Világos-borostyán tiszta szín, szép, közepesen tartós fehér hab, kitöltve tetszik, ránézésre nem túl szénsavas. Illata gyenge, átlagosan komlózott, pici doboz-fémes illat, semmi extra. Ízre már sokkal-sokkal jobb. Karakteres, erős, telt ízek egy lagerhez képest. Picit érződik az alkohol, de finom, keserű, komlós íz, mellette malátát is érezni, emellett édeskés mellékíz. Az ízéért mindenképp érdemes kipróbálni, egy finom, jól iható "erős sör". Ajánlom, jó ár-érték arány! Vettem egyet Szlovákiában. Ugyanilyen jó volt :)

The taste is much, much better. Characteristic, strong, full flavors compared to a lager. You can feel a little bit of alcohol, but it has a delicate, bitter, hop-like taste, along with malt, as well as a sweet aftertaste. For its taste, it is definitely worth a try, a delicious, well-drinkable "strong beer". I recommend good value for money! I bought one in Slovakia. It was just as good :)

Draft at Salon Piva 2018. Crystal clear golden color white head with solid lacing. Light white pepper aroma. Taste is cereal and light booze. My 100th Imperial Pils / Strong Pale Lager, on the day that the style gets divided.

F: big, bit tan, good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, bready, bit caramel, grassy, floral. T: malty, caramel, bready, bit grassy, nice balanced bitterness, bit alcohol but not disturbing, medium body and carbonation, very nice, enjoyed, good balanced, 0,5l can from Supermarket Billa in TULIP CENTER, Martin-Záturčie in Slovakia.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'Tesco', best before April 2019. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly musty and a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some sugar and a touch of straw. Rather sweet, malty, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, vanilla, some sugar and a touch of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy, minimally alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Not bad, but just a cheap brew to get drunk with.

500ml can shared by djoeye. Fast dissipating rocky, white head. Crocheted lacing. Clear warm golden body. Restrained aroma of mid-sweet caramel malts. Flavoured with buttery malts alongside a papery touch towards the ending. Noticeable alcohol. A bit sticky mouth feel. Drinkable. (Rating session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 08.11.2017).
