The St. Paul Blond is a wonderful, fresh, blonde easy to drink beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It has a beautiful blonde colour and a big, white head. This bonde has, thanks to the technique of dryhopping, a pleasant aroma. It contains notes of citrus, pear and apple. This St. Paul is soft, fruity, spicy and hoppy and has a dry aftertaste.

A hazed golden ale with a thick big bubbled white head. A pleasant fruity aroma of bubblegum, orange pulp, coriander. In mouth, a good crisp malt with oily mouthfeel, smooth coriander, light candy sugar, very smooth and classic belgian ale. Bought at Carrefour, Bogota, Colombia, for 6000 COP (3US$).

Hazy blond, no head. Citrus aroma. Thin watery texture. Low carbonation. Flavour quite full of lemon with a hint of hop in the finish. Overall this beer lacks depth.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pale golden with a small but rather stable, white head. Very light-bodied, but a lovely blond ale perfect for mass consumption. A touch of some citrus, but in the palate there’s absolutely nothing. Nice but perhaps a bit anonymous. 030498

Bottled (BB 03/2007)
Pale yellow, a bit hazy color, foamy white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and grassy. Light to medium bodied. Slightly sweet mango flavor, citrusy, yeasty and grassy notes. Well carbonated. Quite weak and simple blonde - a bit witbier-like.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with foamy white head. Very yeasty and malty aroma. Yeasty, bitter flavour. Nothing special at all. I had waited more from a Belgian blond...
