Bouteille: Chestnut-amber coloured, a bit unclear, small off-white foamy layer, moderate sweetish-bready nose, traces of dreid fruits and liquorice detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 6.5%; drier bitter-sweet finish, malty and hoppy bitterness detectable. Not really convincing, tastes like a heavily diluted Doppelbock…

(bottle) Clear, copper to dark amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet and delicately toasted malty aroma with notes of beet sugar and caramel. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasted malty and slightly sugary taste, again with hints of sugar beets; sweet malty and delicately bitter finish with traces of caramel. Not overly impressive. 27.IV.13

500ml bottle. Clear brownish faint ruby red colour with small, fading, white head. Caramel malty aroma with hints of toffee, a nuttily touch, a very weak and cautious roast note. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, a touch of toffee, some toast, dry, slightly grassy hoppy overtones; slightly watery and relatively light for its style. Colour and body give the impression of a diluted beer.
