Dunkler, etwas bananiger Antrunk, relativ süffig. Dunkler, wenig herber Mittelteil, bananig bleibend, mittellanger Nachgeschmack.

50cl Bottle at Brecht. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma is very sweet, pumpernickel, loads of liquorice, laurel, dark fruits. Flavour is likewise, just very sweet liquorice and molasses, very malty. Medium bodied, very sticky. Way too sweet for me, lacks depth.

Tap @ Troost during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Dark brown color, short head. Aroma of liquid rye bread, licorice, roasted malts, molasses. Quite sweet in taste together with some bitterness mainly from malts. Bit too sweet though.

Bottled@AIH40 (from bierzwerg.de). Deep copper colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, some syrup, mild toasted notes as well as some slight ripe fruits. Flavour toffee, fruits, some floral notes as well as mild fudgy notes. Quite bitter and wooden in the finish too.
