Bottled 330ml. -at Zagreb Beer Fest 2019. Slightly hazy amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, nutty caramel nose. Sweet malty, sugary, caramel, dried fruits and touch of alcohol with rather sweet finish.

Bottle @ home. Nice dark red glare coming through a red-brown color. Aroma and flavor is malts, caramalts, dark candy sugar, perhaps a slight hint of smoke, a bit sweet. Decent to medium body, suitable average carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet dark malts and also some dark forest fruits and chocolate. Smooth texture.

Very different take on the style. Has a rounded but strong smoke/wood taste to it. Nothing off about it though. Nice beer, very bold. D&S Dresden

Thanks Marko for sharing this with Anja and me. Clear dark brown. Roasty, dark fruits, dried fruits, alcohol. Roasty, lightly burnt, otherwise sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation, moderate finish. Good roasty beer, alcohol balance just right.

Bottle, shared with Hrabren & Anja. Ruby amber/red lighter cola body, off white head, small. Caramel, malty aroma, light coffee, light alcohol. A bit toasty, relatively simple. Taste... smooth, simple, caramelly, toasty. Creamy, simple, well hidden alcohol in the taste. Not bad, actually drinkable. Slightly flat, but not bad at all.

Bottle. Reddish-brown color with small tan head. Aroma is chocolate, herbal, toffee, a touch of roasted malts. Taste is mineralic, chocolate, herbal, a bit roasted again. Surprisingly high and big-bubbled carbonation for a franconian brew. Pleasant.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a lacing, off-white head. Nose has subtle, burnt caramel and nuts. Rich, malty body, very solid, sweetish edge but not really sweet as such since there’s plenty of hops for balance. A superbly well made and balanced Dunkler Bock. 210317
