Bottle from Vinoble-favrskov, brewn 17-10-2009. clear dark amber with a coppery, red and brown hue, depending on light. very large very smooth very good looking beige head. nice complex hoppy and bitter hoppy aroma. i get faint floral hops, bitter hops. Seems to have been hopped so much the aroma goes bitter, aroma reminds me of extremely hopped beers.nice sweet malty base to the hops. aroma is somewhere between a barley wine and a double IPA. flavor is sweet malty, faint caramelly, loads of bitter hops to balance, the hop flavor is intense enough that it just turns bitter and dry, but it works well, with a good balance to the quite malty and caramelly sweet base. As the beer is bone dry and very bitter hopped, it comes off as quite refreshing even though it also is quite sweet malty. Not many Danish brweries have dared release such an extreme beer.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Fat aroma hops in the nose - and a whiff of dirty socks. Quite full-bodied, solid malt base, some caramel and fat and juicy hops leaving a massive bitterness. 060510

Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet fruits, nectar, mild gluelike sweetness as well. Flavour is sweet fruits, some hops and mild notes of wood. This one also has some slight problems with being too sweet.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of soap, hops, fruit, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and hops - like chewing on hop cones, leading to a very bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth.
