12oz bottle pours a clear, orange, copper with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly mundane; crackers, apricots, grains. Flavor is similar, slight fruits, more crackers, a little toffee. A little thin on the end with some residual sweetness.

bottle - Pours light copper with a thin head. The aroma is all about the caramel malt as is the flavor. Any hops in there is barely discernible. This beer is smooth and light bodied. It’s easy drinking, but doesn’t offer as much as I’d expect from Bell’s.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville, batch 8610. Orange pour with minimal head. Very grassy aroma, the grassiness pretty much dominates, but there are some grainy notes. The taste is fairly opposite. Sweet, grainy, cereal and doughy notes with subtle bitterness. High carbonation and medium body. Nice.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Light malty and minor grainy note. Flavour is dry malty with light grainy note. Ends light smooth malty with a light dry bitterness.

Slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager, has some orange tinge in there. Aroma is rather clean cream and yeasty. A rather mild fest beer than can be easily enjoyed. Has just a tad of bitter bite but much less than many fest beers. Good tingly carbonation that comes across as creamy at times, just like the aroma. This is enjoyable and easy to drink. A fun fest beer that has good manners and is fun to drink for a lager lover. I’m not much of a Bell’s fan, but this is a good one. No bitter impressions on the finish. Not as good as Hacker but certainly as good as Stoudts and Schell. Waves above Great Lakes Octoberfest as far as enjoyability goes.

Pours a clear orange/copper color with a medium off-white head that has decent retention. Spotty lacing throughout with a thin ring at the top. The aroma is mostly malty with touches of sweet spice and hops. Medium body with roasted malt, caramel and hops flavors. The finish is malty and nutty at first with a lightly peppered hops aftertaste. Pretty simple for a Bell’s beer quite honestly. Average overall.

Bottle on 09/12/2009. Very clear pale amber body with a medium white head. Sweet toasty malt aroma with a bit of caramel. Sweet toasty and caramel flavor with a bit of noble hops lurking in the background. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.2 09/01/2007: Clear amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel and malty aroma. Bottle. Body is a fairly clear and orange color. Head is pretty big at first (maybe three fingers or so) but dies down pretty quickly... it left a lot of suds on the side of the glass. Aromas are grainy right after pouring, but then thin out a bit and change to a more fruity quality... pears, apples and white grapes. Unexpected, to say the least. Flavor is thick, flat and sweet. Caramel malts, bread dough and pumpkin or squash or something. It’s pretty uninspiring, especially from Bell’s.
