Tap @ mikkeller bar. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Oaty sweet, lactose malty aroma. Nice. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, salty notes, licorice, oatmeal. Lovely smooth mouthfeel.

Dark brown. Has a vague cocoa character, basic stout nose. Medium body, cocoa and touch of fudgey sugars. Ok stout.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Black color. Mild aroma of roasted malts. Dry, but with a good body structure, leading to gently roasted malts and hints of chocolate, ending with mild saltiness.
Good Stout. Balanced.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt and light dry cocoa, not getting any bivalve. Flavour is pretty dry, with medium roasted malt, not much else. Light-bodied, with a dry, lightly briney finish. Solid.

On tap at Uptown Market. Pours a near pitch black color with a small white head. A light fruity and roast nose. The flavor is salty, big roast, licorice, just loads of oyster. Dominant black licorice and oysters and it works. I thought this was closer to 10%. Lovely beer.
