Medium offwhite head. Hazy amber body with strong carbonation. Earthy sugary peas and caramel aroma with mealy wooden notes. Dry-sweet musty earthy alcoholic taste with wooden caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Weird alcoholic and confused mouthfeel. Dryish earthy papery caramel aftertaste with vegetable notes. Weird. Is it really meant to be like this? (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

(Bottle) Amber colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toasty grain, honey, apricots, orange and slightly citrussy hops. Malty taste with toasted malt, caramel, nuts, orange and a rather short finish with balanced notes of citrussy hops. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Balanced and nice.

250ml on tap at Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Nice appearance with its (almost) clear brownish body under a thin layer and with great laceworks on the glass. Honeyed malt to the nose. On the sweet side of bittersweet with notes of brittle caramel and just a touch of hoppy fruits. Crispy palate and moderate carbonation (28.05.2008).
