Bottled. Dark brown, small beige head. Coffee and licorice up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Fragile caramelly malt, plenty of pine, some lemon. Salty caramelly finish with some resin. Mushy and medicinal.

330ml bottle from Alko Arkadia. BBE 09/19. Pours pitch black with a foamy brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, licorice, hints of vegetables, dark chocolate and syrup. Taste is earthy, roasty and sweetish with some licorice, ash, herbal notes, earthiness and syrup. Finish is sweet, syrupy and earthy with some roastiness, licorice and hints of hops. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Black with a big tan head. Roasty flavor with chocolate, some licorice, dark fruits. Bittersweet flavor with roast, chocolate, dark fruits, a bit of alcohol, and a bitter burnt finish. Full-bodied. Very good.
