A form of framboise ("fræmBWäˈ," a traditional sour ale style aged on raspberries), the beer has a fine reddish-orange color with deep, fresh raspberry aromatics underpinned by the vanilla notes of American bourbon oak aging and the funkiness of the wild yeast strain Brettanomyces.

Grabbed a bottle from whole foods for Game of Thrones finale. Slightly pinkish brew with fine head. Nose is vinous and slightly medicinal. Tastes of raspberry and cherry but much more subdued than you’d think with name, not jammy at all. Also get some dry red wine, herbs, hay, and lacto. Drying finish quite bubble but not really tart. Pleasant but not outstanding.
