Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, toasted malts, some spices and mild fluelike sweetness Flavour is fruity, a bit gluelike sweetness, some alcohol a well as caramel, toffee and some nectary notes.

Bottle @ Voldby beerfest. Pours hazy brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, spices. Taste is malt, caramel, brown sugar, raisins, light alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet and light alcoholic finish. 270811

Bottle. Dark red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, prunes, dried fruits, raisin. Flavour is alcohol, prunes, dried fruits, raisin, licorice, roasted malt, caramel. Full bodied nice beer.

At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy brown colour. One-dimensional malty sweet aroma and flavour, caramel and maybe a touch of chocolate. Lacks the complexity and spiciness I hoped for. Not a winner by me.

cloudy amber, small white head. aroma is bitter nutty, malty, subdued sweetness. flavor is dark fruity, sweet malty, great balance.
