Sample at Kurtkeller 007: Founders-tastic 01 on 03/06/2014. Dark copper pour with a medium off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hop, roast malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Definitely past its prime but still and enjoyable beer.
