Lovingly referred to by Fremonters as the B-BOMB, this bourbon barrel-aged edition of our winter ale has a warming spicy aroma and rich carmelly notes of bourbon, wood and vanilla added to dark roasty chocolatey malt flavors and subtle hopping.

650ml bottle. Spicy, smooth and roasty with loads of coffee, bourbon, toffee, cinnamon, cocoa and earthiness. Quite good.

Bottle shared at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Thanks to Lasse Lervik for pouring me a glass of this. Pours pitch black with a medium fuzzy dark brown head. Aroma is dusty, licorice, coconut, light cinnamon, spice, chocolate, roast, vanilla, caramel. Taste is pretty much a coconut spice bomb, lots of caramel, licorice, chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla, fudge. Damn nice.

Tap at Harry's Hofbrau. Massive cinnamon spice aroma. Pours deep brown with brown head that leaves small bubbles around the collar. Taste is cinnamon stick, and slight roast. The coffee is restrained here. A beautiful Strong Ale, but a little heavy on the cinnamon.

Shared bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste, coffee, cinnamon, chocolate. Bit harsh but still enjoable.

Pretty solid version, with the only slight fault being a touch too much booze. Roast, cinnamon and bourbon. Espresso, dark chocolate and caramel. Notes of toffee and a touch of leather like you got whipped by Jessica Alba by the pool. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Way smoother than the smell and ABV would indicate. Nice flavors of coffee and cinnamon.

Dark brown. Lots of chocolate and cinnamon. On the palate, lots of cinnamon for sure. Nice chocolate. Good barrel. Rich, balanced, but also a lot of fun.

Pitch black color. Light brown color. Amazing dark chocolate, tons of oak, vanilla, with coffee and cinammon in the background. Sweet with amazing barrel character. A bit boozy. With excellent coffe, dark chocolate, vanilla and cinammon finish. Low carbonation. So well Integrated

Bomber from Albertsons. Pours out jet black, thin beige head disappears. Nose is bit confusing, as there is so much going on. Taste brings it all together, Mexican chocolate, cinnamon, coffee, barrel notes and a bit of warmth from the alcohol. Sweet and ashy.

22oz bomber pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses and booze nuanced cinnamon, caramel malts and spicy black strap molasses boosted booze. The taste delivers molasses blended cinnamon, spicy black strap molasses and booze. This is pretty nice with noticable ABV but for this extreme level it's petty tame.
