At bierfestival Bad Staffelstein. Dark color, decent sized head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, brown sugar, light caramel. 7-4-7-4-13

Bottle: Strong barnyard aroma, very malty, caramel, plums. Malty taste with toffee and caramel. Slight bitter and toffee finish. Bit thin. 7 3 6 2 10 =2.8 Brewery tap: caramel and barnyard aroma and flavor. Malty sweet, licorice. Low on carbon.

Flaska från Landbierparadis. Kopparfärgad klar vätska med en krämig skumpuck.Söt brödig doft och smakbild, lite mjölkchoklad, mörk sirap, lite brödkryddor i den lätta beska. Kanske något söt annars bra. Gott.

Drunk from the bottle. Cacao, mildly sweet, molasses notes without the sugar itself, herbal hop note coming late. Complex beer made with plenty of dark roasted malt. Excellent

Many thanks for this kloster beer to Mariusz. Piwo ma ladna czerwono miedziana barwe, spora i trwala piane, zapach pieczonego makowca, W smaku nuty slodowe, lekko palone, troche karmelu, troche ciasta domowego makowca i nieco farszu z nalesnikow z jablkami. Fajne, udane z ladna etykieta.

500ml bottle as Trunk Export Dunkel; BB 29th Nov 18. Drank in our Bamberg holiday apartment on 9th Sep 18, bought from Bierothek, Bamberg. Clear brown pour, beige crown. Malts rule the nose and taste, semi-sweet initial taste, late bitterness and matallic twang as the beer warms.

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Dark brown colour, creamy beige foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet, malty, notes of caramel, bready, very light bitterness. Easy drinkable. Nice Dunkel.

Pours brown from the bottle. The frothy light tan head slowly subsides. Aroma is caramel and roasted grains. Taste is very mildly bitter up front with a strongly roasted character. Hints of grains, tobacco and ash. Body is medium, carbonation is mild, there is a subtle warmth at the finish. Overall a pretty decent dark lager.

500ml bottle. Clear mahogany colour with deep ruby glimmer and average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mild roasty, minimally smoky (?), dark malty aroma, hints of chocolate an droasted nuts. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, toasty, minimally nutty, hints of malt lozenge, chocolate, a touch of husk; smooth and soft palate.
