27-10-17 // 500ml bottle. Murky brown. Malty aroma. Medium body, sweet malty, some caramel grainyness. Smooth.

Flaske spandert av Rune og delt 1 Aug 17. Merket Nothelfer Trunk. Mørk nøttebrun. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Nøttearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken nøtter. Gjennomført godt øl.

500ml bottle as Nothelfer Trunk shared with Finn. Good looking with a stable, bubbly, off-white head over a deep ruby-mahogany coloured body. Spotty lacing. Malty sweetness on nose. The taste profile is dominated by caramel and a backdrop of dark fruits, rather well blended. Mid-sweet malt-fruity ending. Just alright. (Tromsø 01.08.2017).

Flasche 0,5l: Dunkles Mahagoni, klar, deutlicher feinporiger Schaum; würzige Nase, fruchtig, dunkle Süße, Malz, Malzzucker, Karamell, leichte Röstaromen, dunkle/getrocknete Früchte, nussig, angenehme trocken-würzige Bitterkeit; kräftiger würziger Körper, Röstmalz, Getreide, dunkles Karamell, leichte Säure, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, Röstaromen, angenehme trockene Bitterkeit; angenehmer trocken-würziger Nachgang mit deutlichen Röstaromen

Bottle. Reddish/dark amber color with small tan ring. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, molasses. Taste is metallic, very earthy, some chocolate. Dry mineraly finish. Smells very sweet, but isn’t. It’s quite rustic. Nice!

Würziger, sehr malziger Geschmack, äußerst süffig. Trocken im Abgang. Lecker aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

0,5 l bottle under the name Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk. Thanks to TJ, my second son. Dark red brown in the glass, big light tanned foamy head. Looks really good. Malty and light metallic on the nose. Tastes malty, light sweetness, grainy hints, little bit sourish in the middlepart, more malt in the aftertaste. Easy to drink.

Clear dark chestnut brown colour, one finger thick creamy beige head, recedes only slowly to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma sweet and roasted malts, caramel, fruit syrup, brown sugar, hint of liquorice. Taste mediun sweet, light bitter, roasted malt. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, prickly on the tongue, at first mild bittersweet finish, becomes more bitter after a while, nice.

Had this as Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry, a bit metallically. Finish again milder, dry-malty, a bit boring and simple. Exspected more.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, leichte schokoladige Noten, leicht würzig.
