Een dubbel bier van hoge gisting, gemaakt van pilsmout en zwarte mout. Mooi gehopt met de aromatische hop Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Hierdoor krijgt het een bitterig kruidig aroma. Een lekker zacht en smaakvol bier om rustig van te genieten. Kleur 43 EBC.

Glas gedronken tijdens Brabants bierfestival 2024 in Oirschot. Donkerbruin troebel bier met mooie schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is licht fruitig. Smaak is fruitig, zurig. Weinig nasmaak.

*rating overgezet 2020* Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een moutige en caramel achtige geur. De smaak van mout, caramel en chocolade bitter.

33cl bottle from Hop op het Hof Bier & Spijsfestival (visited 9.6.2019) in Bergeijk in Nederland. F: big, almost tanned, creamy, irregular, good retention. C: dark brown, hazy. A: dark malts, caramel, bit herbal, chocolate touch, bread, fruity. T: malty, bit bready, fruity, herbal, caramel, bit dried fruits, medium body and carbonation, not bad for the style yet nothing very memorable, drinkable and let´s say ok.

Bottle shared. Very hazy brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of herbs, malt, caramel, light veggies, yeast and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. [12-07-2016]

Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht bananig, Gewürze. Geschmack stark malzig, süß, Honig und Gewürze.
