Bottle. Pretty dark amber, big golden foam. Dusty caramel aroma, some gunpowder. Caramelized apple, plum, Raisins, metallic and phenolic/band aid notes, grassy hop finish. Medium full mellow body. Slightly Belgian feel to it, feels a bit muddled though.

Bottle, many thanks pivnizub. Beautiful clear amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is caramel, grainy, prunes, raisins. Taste is caramel, prunes, pears, bready, some other fruits. Medium natural carbonation, full-bodied, warming finish, a bit phenolic. Surprising and good, but it’s quite sweet.

Bottle: Deep golden, clear, small to medium-sized white head with a little lace; mild to moderate malty-toasty nose with some fruity spots, moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, not very soft; lingering toasty and hoppy bitter-sweet finish. Solid franconian quality...

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to copper colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Malt-accented aroma with notes of caramel, bread, tea, shades of honey and hints of barnyard in the most positive sense, backed by mildly fruity and flowery hoppy accents. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Complex malt-profile with bready notes, caramel and traces of honey, mildly fruity and flowery hoppy background; moderately sweet malt-accented and delicately hoppy finish. A hearty Lager from Franconia. 07.VII.17
