Tap at the Kloster. Cloudy brown amber, offwhite foam. Mineral citric initial aroma. Medium light mellow body, spritzy. Fine bready roast, Spanish citric bananas, noticeable hop profile, very drinkable.

Süßlich hefiger Antrunk, dunkel malzig. Konstant, die Malzigkeit ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu schwach. Minimal bananig, süffig. 9/11/10/10/9/10

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, cloves, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, cloves, and caramel, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle (many thanks to Quack-Duck!): Cloudy, reddish-amber coloured, huge and stable off-white head; nuts, fresh brown bread, caramel and some fruits (figues?) in the unusual, but superb nose; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; caramel, walnuts and bread in the finish. Great, outstanding Dunkelweizen......
