Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!) Almost clear, deep golden to copper coloured, small - but lacy - off-white layer; solid nutty-caramelly nose with a mild but distinctive citrussy-hoppy tinge; moderate and balanced sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and soft; first caramelly, later lemony hoppy finish. Wow, what a delicious Märzen.......

bottle, from the brewery. Clear, deep amber golden colour, small white head. Intensive aroma of caramel. Full-bodied, grainy malty flavours with lots of caramel, good herbal hops, especially in the lingering finish. Well balanced, well crafted, a very nice beer.
