Bottle. Pale amber color. Apple and floral notes in the aroma and flavor. Malty, but still rather thin. Lacks the breadiness and the body a Maerzen should have.

EIn Märzen nach bayrischer Art mit dunkelgelber Farbe. Vollmundiger malziger Körper, der aber hinten raus schnell einen komischen süßlichen Geschmack hat. Hat mich nicht wirklich begeistert.

Bottle at the Klosterbräustüberl. Beautiful clear copper-amber color with big white head. Aroma is caramel malts, earthy, nutty, a bit dusty. Taste is caramel, juicy malts, herbal-earthy, a bit nutty, quite a lot of flavours. Finish has a slight sweetness, going into a fruity aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Nice Märzen.
