L’Okult N°1 est une bière spéciale au froment de fermentation haute, de type blanche (pendant belge des « Weizenbier » allemandes). Aromatisée aux écorces d’orange et à la coriandre, elle se caractérise par une fraîcheur soulevée de notes d’agrumes. Elle titre 5,5% d’alcool, est non-filtrée et certifiée d’origine biologique. Le froment bio qui complète le froment et l’orge malté dans sa recette provient d’un agriculteur à deux pas de la brasserie (Enscherange, nord luxembourgeois).

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow. Citric, lemony nose. Dryish, light and simple with some acidity and not much else. Freshening at best, but not really good.

Trocken-fruchtiger Geruch. Zitronig-spritziger Antrunk mit etwas wässrigem Unterton. Die spritzige Note bleibt bis in den nachgeschmack erhalten, leider dringen andere Töne kaum durch, lediglich die etwas hopfige Note im nachgeschmack ist erwähnenswert. An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet acidic with clear notes of wheat. The flavor is wheaty acidic with hints of banana, but the body is thin. An OK beer without being special.

Hazy orange; thick cream-coloured head, stable and lacey. Nose of wheat, chaff, some caramel (?), orange zest. Nearly tart, lemon&orangey, refreshing tasting witbier. Actually a very good one for a wit, not too corianderish. Flavours of orange-filled gingerbread, something minty at the same time. Well-bodied for a wit. Refreshing. Slightly peppery aftertaste - yet coriander or grains of paradise? Good one! Okult has made progress with this one.
