L’Okult N°1 est une bière spéciale au froment de fermentation haute, de type blanche (pendant belge des « Weizenbier » allemandes). Aromatisée aux écorces d’orange et à la coriandre, elle se caractérise par une fraîcheur soulevée de notes d’agrumes. Elle titre 5,5% d’alcool, est non-filtrée et certifiée d’origine biologique. Le froment bio qui complète le froment et l’orge malté dans sa recette provient d’un agriculteur à deux pas de la brasserie (Enscherange, nord luxembourgeois).

330ml bottle, 4.5%. Gift from a friend who visited Luxembourg. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aromas & tastes of orange peel, coriander & wheat malt. Medium body. Sweet finish

Orange with a frothy, white head. Floral aroma mixed with coriander and a bit of lime. Pleasant. Taste is mildly bitter, citric, with an overdose of lime. Short, empty finish that trends watery. Light-bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

330mL bottle at Hotel Empire bar (1st floor), pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out coriander upfront, with soft wheat and a little citrus. Flavour is bright and citrusy, with a decent spicy coriander character upfront, followed by citrus, and soft pillowy wheat. Clean and easy.

Bottle from Grima, thanks! Pale blonde, cloudy. Citrus, wheat and coreander in the aroma and flavor. Traubenzucker. Short aftertaste. My wife liked it.

33cl bottle from House of Delights, Luxembourg Airport. Pours slightly hazy golden with a short lived white head. Fruity and slightly wheaty with mild yeasty notes, hints of citrus and spices.
