Gourmet-Fläschle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, cloudy, quickly collapsing loose off-white head; sweet fruity-malty nose, bisquits and honey detectable, some herbal hops underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, some traces of alcohol detectable, a bit tart, too; drier lingering fruity and hoppy finish with a ever drier bitter aftertaste. Not unpleasant...

Bottle from Rewe Homberg, Dortmund. Slightly sweetish nose. The beers starts fresh and perfumed. Moderate bitter, the honey is there, round and a bit sharp. Nice dry aftertaste, caramel, earth, dry roasted malts. Interesting.

Bottle. Red amber, offwhite head. Grainy/fruity aroma - dates, strawberries. Medium light, somewhat metallic dry body, berry notes, caramel, sugar notes, quick finish, dusty retronasal.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a firm and medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Slightly melanoidinic malty aroma with notes of caramel, bread crusts and subtle fruity accents of dried fruits, accompanied by a whiff of spicy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Hearty cara-malt character with crusty notes, traces of oak honey and mildly spicy hops; dry-ish and quite rounded sweet-bitter finish with a well-embedded alcoholic strength. 16.I.17

Bottle, 6.5%. Golden-amber color with tan head. Aroma is malty, dates, honey, bottom-fermented wet cellar feeling. Taste is mildly floral, some honey, nice malt body, but not too sweet, slightly sticky warming finish. Mineralic finish. Medium carbonation. Very good!
