Swing-top bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Cerar family. Aroma is grainy, grassy and floral. Pours clear pale golden color with medium sized soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy, following is herbal, biscuity and faint honeyish, mouthfeel is smooth but rather dry, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. For the land of the free…

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours an almost clear golden colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, white bread and a touch of lemon. Taste is malty with more grains, hay and bread and some mild earthy and grassy hops on the sweetish finish. Slight metallic notes also coming through at the end. Medium to full body, average carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Started out pretty well but is getting a bit harsher and more metallic the more i drink. Ok but not great.

Bottle. Birthday gift from the missus. Mitchell’s Wines Sheffield. Clear runny honey gold. Good white foam. Nose has light sour grain. Shredded privet leaf. Some soft caramel notes. Taste is a tad sweet first off with a decent grassy bitterness coming through. Clean and easy drinking with solid burpage. Finish gets a bit lemony. Nice one.
