Mit Köstritzer Witbier führen wir eine Spezialität nach belgischem Vorbild ein: Witbier – das klassische belgische Weizenbier. Im Unterschied zum herkömmlichen Weizenbier tritt es hell und auch fein trüb in Erscheinung. Der Geschmack definiert sich über spritzigen Antrunk, einen dezent säuerlichen Klang und die prägende Weizennote. Veredelt wird der Sud mit getrockneten Orangenschalen und Koriander, welche dem Witbier seine fruchtig-würzige Note verleihen. Diese außergewöhnlichen Komponenten sorgen dafür, dass der zitrusartige Charakter stärker in den Vordergrund rückt.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a small, white head. Discreet, fruity nose. Light-bodied, slightly perfumy from added coriander - presumably. Dry finish. Would be an excellent summer quencher. 271217

17.08.2016/23.09.2017 -- 0.5l bottle from köstritzer taster pack, marktkauf/edeka. pours a hazy lemon yellow with a small white head. aroma of yeast, candy, cake, coriander. flavour of coriander, grass, apples, lemon. dry citrusy finish. mild and refreshing. 05.06.2018 -- an out-of-date bottle, bb 10.03.2017. aroma of lemon cake. flavour of lemon biscuit and coriander. ook.

Butelka 0.5l (01.11.2016). Piwo zmętnione o słomkowej barwie. Piana biała, obfita, dość drobna i trwała, ładnie zdobi ścianki szkła. Aromat jest dość rześki z nutami charakterystycznymi dla witbiera choć nie powala intensywnością. Smak zbieżny z aromatem, przeciętny, nie powala. Piwo jest leciutkie a nawet wodniste bez zaznaczonego ciała, słabo wysycone, bez podstawy słodowej choć w miarę pijalne.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo inspirowane belgijska tradycja bialych piw pszenicznych. Otorz jest bardzo podobne jest kolendra sporo skorki pomaranczy zwlaszcza w aromacie. W smaku cytrusowe, cytryny troche ananasa i lekkiej kwaskowosci. Delikatnie musujace ze spora piana ale opadajaca szybko. Jasne z lekkim zabarwieniem metnym. Do ryby gotowanej na parze idealne piwo.
